    Default Freshwater Question

    I know this is for Reefs but anyways,I'm taking care of my son's freshwater tank and need to topoff the tank.Can I use RO/DI or do I need to use tap after using Chlorine remover drops/

    Probably depends on what your son was using to top it off. Some freshwater tanks are just tap with the chlorine remover and other tanks are a little more particular due to the species, etc.

    I used RO/DI in my fresh water everytime with no problem, but i have a big fish too(red devil). It should be ok.
    Reefing is just like cooking, all the ingredients have to be just right , except you don't have to bring the water to a BOIL...

    Is that the fish in the kitchen? that thing is HUGEEEEE. Bob, convert it to salt while he's away ;)
