They made us wear our uniforms on meeting days, Thursday. Had to wear the brown pants with the orange shirt for Tiger Cub. Blue shirt, yellow scarf as a Cub Scout. Then that awkward time as a WEBELO being able to wear either the new khaki Boy Scout shirt or blue shirt with the plaid scarf. Then as a Boy Scout I could choose either the olive green or khaki shirt the first couple of years until the khaki became the final official shirt. The other kids were always trying to usurp us with stories about their hardcore church groups. Losers.
