I don't have a camera but I can describe them. They grow from the rock and are white exo-skeleton looking with a bright green tip on the end. I have 3 of them, the longest of which is about 3" long. Any idea what they are?

I remember seeing something similar and was told it was a type of calcerous algae.
Very hard to tell without a pic.

Can't remeber the names but it is a calcareous algae like Mike said. Very good indicator that your calcium is just right. Not harmful to anything unless they grow out of control.
