    Default Spider Indentification

I recall there being a few guys on here that are into Spiders, specifically into tarantulas. I was camping in Garner State park this weekend and ran into several of these and took this pic.

What species is this? Is it a baby Texas Brown? Every one of them was around the same size which was probably 2" in diameter. It doesnt look like any Texas Brown ive seen in person or pics but im pretty sure it is a tarantula.

    Any ideas?

Ray we found one of those spiders in an empty corn sack at the deer lease in Rock Springs. It was around 3" and moved very fast.

Looks like some kind of bird spider to me. The front legs are very elongated....

Im pretty sure its a tarantula. They were neet, but if you messed with them to long that would chase, stand their ground, rear up on the hind legs and show their fangs. That is a common characterisitc of a tarantula.

Well, not a Tarantula, note the fangs and how they go side to side and not up and down. That is how you can separate a Tarantula (T, for short) from all other spiders. Also lacks the "pedipalps" in the front like a T would have.

As to what it is, I would say one brown boring spider. ; )

I am mainly into T's and Latrodectus sps. (Widows).
