portable hard drive
can someone give me any recommendations for a portable hard drive for a laptop. there seems to be alot of different types and brands available. i really don't have a clue on the difference between them other than how many GB they can store.
Thanks,
Ray

I would just get a 2.5" external enclosure for a laptop hard drive. You can get the enclosure for $29 at ACS here in town (SATA or IDE) and then slap in a drive of your choice. They've got 160 gig 2.5" SATA drives for $69 there too. This setup is nice and small and doesn't draw a lot of power. I haven't checked the prices with the above sites, they may have better deals.
