I don't know the answer but where do you find flexible PVC?
You can find a few sizes at Home Depot or Lowes. You can also try hitting up plumbing supply shops or Spa stores.
If you want a full range of colors and diameters of SpaFlex, this is a great online source:

Lowe's always has SpaFlex (flexible PVC). I also twist the pipe a 1/4 turn after a few seconds to help hold. Never had any trouble gluing the two together.

That is what I did. There are pictures of mine under my posts. The returns to tank and frag tank were all 3/4" flex pvc. Worked well. Had to redo a couple of joints due to very minor leaks.....always good to use lots of ball valves.

And don't forget unions! Those can be a real life saver too if you need to remove a section of the plumbing, especially by a pump. Best thing out there is a true union ball valve..always good to use lots of ball valves.
Another great online plumbing store:

Thanks for the replies. The had PVC under the tank just isn't cutting it anymore.

How about an update on this? Did you use flexible PVC? Did you use "regular" PVC glue? Any problems?
I am in midst of a large project, making a closed loop with several flex PVC to schedule 40 PVC, and wondering if I am safe priming and gluing the flex PVC just like the hard stuff.
Thanks.
