    Default Marineland Tanks

I saw one of these today and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with these tanks. The tank was a Marineland Pro series 250gal tank. It was made with starphire glass, but I think you can get them with regular glass. The dimensions were exactly what I was looking for. 60x36x27. Dual overflows. The only problem I had with it was the center brace was the cheap looking plastic like the all-glass tanks. It also comes in a 200gal (48x36x27) and a 150gal (36x36x27). If anyone else knows about these chime in!!!

They've had one of the Marineland tanks at Aquatek for a while now, not sure if it's Starphire or not, but the one thing I've been struck by each time I see it is how crappy the silicone job is. Looks like an epileptic 5 year old on a sugar high did the seams...

Are you talking about the one at Aanimal wonders? That tank is beautiful isn't it?

I bought a marineland 120g from them back in Dec of 06.That was their largest tank they had for sale at the time. The newest marineland tanks seem to be better. I had an older design that was breaking at the support beam last June. Luckly there is a lifetime warranty and they replaced the tank for free. That was a major pain taking all my fish, inverts, sand and rocks out of the 120g into a 56g. The replacement tank support beam seems a lot stronger and the tank was really heavy compare to the old broken one. I was at Aanimal wonders yesterday too. The lights were off on their 250g and it looks like they need to make another livestock order.
