Britain is headed in a very scary direction. Activists that shut down and damaged a coal were cleared on the grounds that the threat of global warming is so great that they were justified in taking action against the plant.

At least they have a secular education in law. When was the last time the supreme court ruled it was o.k. to stone someone to death.

Don't get me wrong. I am totally against what they are doing. Just making a note of how close our case could be since it's all dependent upon placement of our supreme court justices.

WTH?
If you ever want to destroy a powerful country, you can do it very easily from the inside. Simply fracture the people into different ethnic groups and let them live independent of each other. Happened in Rome and look what happened to them. One country, one law, one language!
Those points might not be spelled out as clearly as we'd like, but most of your points are in the ammendments to the Constitution. #4 Seach and Seizure and #3 quartering of soldiers could be argued as a right to privacy. Innocence till proven guilty is due process and it's included in the 5th and 14th ammendments. Finally, the 19th amend. specifically says the right to vote will not be abridged by the US on account of sex. Sorry, not being confrontational, but just wanted to point those areas out.
