I have a 200 Gallon Acrylic Aquarium, i got it used and it has some scratches on it. it looks ok with water in it but i want it to look better. What can i use to buff out the scratchesinsde and out without any danger to the once it is up and going? i really dont want to lose any fish or anything else because of a stupid mastake. Is there anything i should NOT use? Also what can i clean the tank and sump/skimmer with before i start it up? I plan on having the tank operating in the garage for a week first to make sure nothing is leaking and working. I have heard a little on vinager but how does that process work? thank you

I don't know the specific product to use, but if you do a search here, I know I have seen threads on this before. By the way, you misspelling "mastake" gave me an idea for a new term "maastake!!!". I make a bunch of them.

Depends on how big of an area you need to cover. The smaller kits are ok for a small area. I bought 150 gallon acrylic tank and had to sand it out using various grit sizes. Total time about 72 hours. Well worth it.
