R/O filter GPD and TDS relationship

Does a lower GPD R/O membrane put out a lower TDS than a higher GPD membrane?


Last week I replaced the 75 GPD R/O membrane and pre-filters. Today the DI needs changing because the TDS just hit 9.

I have not bothered to check the TDS before the DI because it is a hassle. I will check this if the new DI beads saturate too quickly.

Thoughts?

from what i understand, the answer to your first question is yes. hopefully russ from buckeye will chime in and let you know for sure.
