actinic question
i have a 92 gallon oceanic corner tank.i put a 250 watt de metal halide pendant on it with an ice cap ballast.i also have two 24 inch t5 fixtures with 2 bulbs each.right now they have one giesemann daylight bulb and one pure actinic.they really dont make much actinic color and the corals dont "glow" like i'd like.what t5 bulbs would you suggest and do you think that these 4 24" t5's are enough actinic?

Four bulbs should be fine, but if you can do longer bulbs and fewer your upkeep costs are less as the incremental size cost is a lot less than more bulbs. I have 4-2' t5s on my grow tank and it's almost 100$ bucks to replace them depending upon the bulb. Seems like they burn out fast too.
