    did anyone else see this article? it is thought to be one of if not the earliest example of over-exploitation of marine organisms by humans....

    What evidence do they give for human's causing the clams extinction? Just how easy is it to harvest a clam with pre-civilization technology?

    Yep, Charles Delbeek did a presentation on clams at MACNA, and talked quite a bit about this new discovery. Good stuff
