Default moving in a few weeks, need info on....

So we are about to move to South Dakota at the end of the month. I am thinking about ordering a tank from glass cages. Any feedback or info?

I had great success with them with my 125g. I know Ace also bought his 240 from them and TexReefer just ordered from them as well. Shipping can be high if they bring it to your home but Im not sure if you have any other choice moving to South Dakota.

To add to my above statement; heres there delivery schedule for the next few months. You will notice the closest they come to SD is Iowa. you will save mucho money meeting them at one of the locations versus them bringing it to your house.

Yea about what I would expect on shipping cost. They do make a good solid tank with extra bracing for support. You can even go with starfire glass with them or rimless. Good luck with what ever you do decide to do and the move. Had you though about ordering and picking up in Houston and just taking it with you?

I planned on going with the starphire glass. I also thought about having the military move it for me, but they are known to break quite a bit. The problem I have is that I haven't found a fish store around Rapid City that sells 75g or bigger or even saltwater fish! So it looks like I will have to figure something out!

Was the store in the mall gone? It was great for livestock.

Remember though that if the military breaks it they are now doing 100% pay out on damages. Also if you carry renters insurance while your moving through USAA they will pay what the military doesn't. Just a thought...

I could only find one store in the mall that has fish and they don't have any saltwater. I am also having trouble finding a tank that is 75g or bigger up there, that's why I was thinking about glass cages....but I don't know. I've sen some saltwater set ups in the online paper for that area. Just have to find out where they get there stock...other wise, I will be ordering a lot..by myself. lol
