    Smile My first tank..pics...

    I finally figured out how to post pics and wanted to show you guys my first tank. Very boring next to some of your tanks but I'm pretty excited about it!!!

    Not boring, just new, we all had thanks that looked like that at one point in time. Looks like a good start tho.

    Looks great, is it a biocube? You already have some great coraline algae growth to.

    Black sand? How do you like it?

    Looks great. Like Jonathan said, all tanks start out new!

    Yeah, it's a 29g biocube. I was surprised that the coraline grew so fast. It's now starting to take over the back wall...I've decided to leave it on the back wall but I clean it off everything else! As for the black sand..jury is still out. I love the look of a black bottom but it got dirty so fast. You can see little "bits" of rock and stuff. I've heard people say not to disturb the sand bed so I've just let it be. I'm learning to embrace the "dirty" parts of a salt water tank!!!

    Thanks guys. I'm having so much fun!! I just got a frogspawn and some green mushrooms this weekend. I'm totally in love with my clowns though!! I'm just getting to know my watchman gobie...I'm sure I'll love him just as much!!!
