Maroon Clown Having Babies????
I have a mated pair of Maroon Clowns and i'm trying to figure out if she is nesting. she eats very well and as a matter of fact has been eating alot more and has gained a little weight which leaves me even more curious. she just stays in the anemones and still plays with the male but still makes it way back to the anemones and rests like if she gets tired. BUT i have only had them for about two months. what could be happening. if so how much time do i have and do i separate them from the tank???

Clown babies are very hard to keep alive if you havent had time to research and plan! You will need another setup up for the fry and food to feed them! Someone with more knowledge will jump in to help soon!

TexReefer's Clown Rearing Log
The females tend to get larger than the male, doesn't necessarily mean babies.... yet.

Acting different
she has been acting very different like not letting anyone bother her while she is with the anemone. she is on the deffensive right now unless she gets out to swim herself. yes i am aware of which one is the male and female i am also aware them batting eachother and and noticed like a quivering as they rub thier fins together and now she is being dominant to one corner of the tank with a live rock and three anemones...
