    Default Acrylic Sump Resize Help...???

Ok, so I couldn't pass up a great deal on a large sump from BigBird. My problem is that it's 1 inch too long at 48". My free space in my stand is at 47". Ideally I would like it to be about 35"-40".

Is there a reasonable way to cut it? I do not have the tools to do it, but is this something I could pay someone to do or would I be better off just trying to trade someone for a smaller one.

    Your Input?

Yes it is acrylic with 3 sections (drain, refugium, and return). I am using it as a top/off resevoir right now. I broke the bottom half of the 2 baffles, so they need to be patches up. I can fix that if you decide to get it. LMK

I'll let you know Giau as I'm interested but first I want to explore mod options because I really like this sump but i also don't want to put much money into it.

Thanks Bill. I'll see what Ace says.
