Default Free Phytoplankton - Kills Cyanobacteria

We are doing a special 30 day promotion starting at the beginning of September where we will select 3 individuals with chronic Cyanobacteria problems. The selected individuals will each receive 30 days worth of our live phytoplankton, including shipping, for FREE!

The promotion is being conducted in order to support our scientific research which shows that our unique blend of pure organic live phytoplankton actually reduces and removes Cyanobacteria from salt-water tanks without the use of commercial medicines. Our product is 100% organic, with no preservatives; it's as close to the ocean born phytoplankton as it can get!

If you're interested post your pictures in this thread or send us an email at precisionaquatech@gmail.com

In order to qualify for this promotion you must:

    • Must live in Texas and be 18 years or older.
    • Submit pictures of your aquarium and Cyanobacteria problem.
    • Must agree not to use any other phytoplankton or aquarium medication in your aquarium for the duration of the promotion.
    • Must follow a few simple application instructions.
    • Tell us a little about yourself and cures that you have tried in the past.

Winners will be announced in the first week of September.

    Thank you.

I've been having trouble with emerging cyano. The only way it seems to get better is when the flow is directly on the sand. I do not use any additives and rely on my sump fuge- the fuge is full of cyano and I tend to play with the lights so as not to get it out of control. I have a 104g RR oceanic with 400wMH and actinics, 2 #3koralias and 2#koralias for flow. I don't want to add any chemicals to my tank so I am at a loss. Do I qualify? I will give more info if needed. Thanks, Adriana

You sound like a perfect candidate. Can you send us some pictures of your tank and fuge.

Here is our fuge with cyano problem.. It went away for a while but came right back. It started to show up in our tank but our tangs are keeping it in check. Its still there through along the sand bed and some on the live rock. I have tried Red Slime Control but really didnt help. The fact that I had to leave the Skimmer off for 5 days really didnt make the situation and easier, along with having to do a 25% water change after day 5 on a 125 gal and repeat the situation all over again just isnt that easy. My corals and inverts didnt like it too much eaither.

    Here are a few pics:

I would like to have a nice fuge again...
