Thread: Favorite aquarium?

    Default Favorite aquarium?

We were at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta last week and it was really beautiful. You guys will definitely enjoy checking it out while at MACNA.

Afterwards we began discussing all-time favorite zoos and aquariums that we've visited. As much as we liked Georgia's, we both remember the Vancouver aquarium as being a really great experience, still probably our favorite thus far.

    So, we were wondering....

What is your favorite aquarium you've visited? (And just for grins, how about favorite zoos also?)

So far its the Gerogia Aquarium for myself. I went its opening months and its was great. At that time they had not lost any of there whale sharks so it was quite a scene.

The aquarium I really want to visit is Europes largest in Valencia, Spain L' Oceanographic. Ive seen it on Discovery and it really rivals Americas aquariums.

Went to the Georgia Aquarium when they had both Ralph and Norton; WOW was that impressive. Watched a documentary a couple of months ago about Okinawa's aquarium with the main tank made specifically for whale sharks... Wow. Would kill to see that tank in person...

I'd really like to visit the California Academy of Sciences in San Fransico in a few years. They built a 25' deep 212,000 coral reef there and it looked amazing on National Geographic. I say I'd wait a few years in order for the corals to grow out a bit
