Should be working with 4 bulbs connect to 660 and two bulbs connect to 430. I has spoked with tech from Icecap and he say 660 will fire 4 bulbs and 430 will fire 2 bulbs.

I am plan to change all my ballasts to two icecap 660 instead of one 660 and 430.

i was going to buy another used 660 but i was told by someone on forum that with 4 bulbs overdriven i would be fine for keeping an SPS dominated tank for my 75g, or anything else i wanted

i believe the 430s overdrive the bulbs as well but not as much as the 660

The 430's overdrive them just a little bit.

    660
    48"
    max number bulbs = 4
    overdriven wattage = 77.0W
    total overdriven wattage = 307.8W

    430
    48"
    max number bulbs = 2
    overdriven wattage = 59.4W
    total overdriven wattage = 118.8W

Yes its overdriven, about 80 watts per bulbs and Four bulbs that 660 can overdrives. 430 is not really overdrive,

SPS will grow under 660 overdrive.

I have 75 gallon too and I am plan to have 4 bulbs drive by 660 and two is also drive by other 660 because I can upgrade to 8 bulbs later when I plan to get other tank.

Thats what I would suggest. That way you can always expand. I'd put at least 6 bulbs in there myself....but if you can squeeze 8, do it!
