I personally dont like mixing salt in tho I made mine on a salt bed, the oyster shell leaves enough spaces that the rock is really porous...
The biggest thing is the curing process, I ended up having to commendere a family bath tub for volume and ease of water changing...i found buckets and polystyrene fish boxes too slow.... what i would recommend is getting a kiddy paddling pool.....sticking a bulkhead in it with hose and valve and run it to a drain, and use a hose to fill
you could do that outside as well, so the sun would heat the water increasing the speed

The nicest looking aragocrete I have ever seen was the rock OU812 here on MAAST made, and was selling awhile back. The pieces shapes were an art form, not just oblong rocks.

the rocks look much harsher than before they get a bit of life on them, once they have a bit of life they look better...im not a fan of the rocks on garfs site in shape tbh
one thing id heard was corals wont encrust because of the pH, but I know this isnt true, I was round at a friends house who made some six months ago and his sps were well encrusted onto them!
