Check the outlet to make sure you didnt trip a breaker! The 3rd prong is just a common ground and shouldnt have hurt the light setup! I dont advise you to use this this way! It is a fire/saftey hazard!!! They put it there for a reason!!LOL! Just had to give you little crap!
