    Default Water temp to high

I just moved into a new house and transferred my tank and set it up as it was but now the temp is alot higher. In my old house I had my heater maintain my tank at 78 but now its 82-84 with no heater. I have also checked the powerheads and they don't seem to be over heating. Also my house temp never gets over 75 in my house. Any sugestions or advice?

Got to love summer time in Hill Country. I will Erik on the fans. A couple of clip on will help a lot and they are cheap.

At your other house the temps were maintained at 78 with a heater and now in the new house 82-84? Whats different between the two locations? I find that scenerio to be quite unusual unless you moved from Alaska to Austin. lol

Can be the position of the tank in the house. If the tank is in a large open room it will run cooler per say it was in a smaller room with more windows.
