I think what others have tried to say is this:
Gift Certificates are different than cash:
They require you to use them at a specific store or website
They may not be convenient to use - do we ALL like "Chili's"??? In your case, one of the stores is in Corpus Christi.
They usually have expiration dates
The average life expectancy of our sponsors is well... sometimes shorter than we would wish (maybe longer in some cases - just kidding!).
Many have minimum orders. I won a $25 certificate a couple of years ago from one that had a $200 minimum. THAT'S hard to use!
I go to Corpus most weekends, and John at reefcleaners and I are on a first name basis.
