    Default Skimmer Problems

Hmmm...I seem to be having skimmer issues. I just installed a new sump and figured while I had everything apart that I'd THOROUGHLY clean my skimmer. It is an in-sump custom needlewheel...built pretty much exactlly like a BK Mini 200.

Well, after my cleaning, I put the skimmer back together and there is a gurgling sound coming from the air hose going to the venturi...which wasn't there before. More importantly though...I can't get my bubbles to clear the neck of the collection cup.

I pulled the skimmer back out, pulled everything back apart, and checked everything over...doesn't seem to be anything wrong or clogged up.

Any ideas? This skimmer was kicking but before I decided to clean it...hmmm.

Its acting as it were if it was new, you cleaned it very well. Give it a day or two to get it self dialed in and it should work its self out.

Perhaps it's too excited to be in its new sump-y home? :-)
