dual chamber ca reactor
what media should i use in the calcium reactor if my goal is to grow coloful sps, clams, and zoas? should both chambers be filled with the same media or different? thank you, joel

i would like to know too, but i imagine youd have to use the same media. zoas wont care. id say as long as you have your reactor tuned in then you should be fine. keeping parameters stable would be best. without a reactor, i try to maintain alk anywhere from 9-11 dKH and calcium from 430-460ppm, magnesium in the 1300 range
also, having colorful SPS will deal with phosphates. keeping phosphates low and nitrates below 15 would be best IMO. you can look into setting up a GFO reactor and having a large skimmer for your tank
