    Default Auto upholstery

Does any one have experience attaching auto upholstery with HOG RINGS? I need my new seat covers attached to the frame with these. My builder doesn't do much for interiors so I will either have to do it when I come home on leave or farm it out. I don't have the tool to do this plus I'd rather have someone do it that has some experience. I really don't want to buy these seat covers again.
I have the rear covers installed, but not clipped on with the rings. The front will need to be installed.
If you can do this please let me know by PM. Also let me know what you charge, I'm sure my wife will pay it just so I wont be working on the car when I come home again.

i know exactly what you are doing and can save you a lot of work

instead of using hog rings use vinyl cable ties. you can buy them at radio shack/altex/walmart/etc . . . and they are just as strong.

lots of folks on f150online.com buy leather seat covers from ebay and put them on this way

f150'S actually have long clips to mount to the frame, that is if its a quality cover, not a one size fits all kind of thing.

Hog Ring pliers are only a few dollars to buy and the rings are cheap.

nothing needed then, they will slide right over the frame and the long plastic C clips will clip onto the frame, takes about 10 minutes per seat for top and bottom
