turning an ATO into a doser?

i have an 15 gallon ato and i was wondering if there was something that i mix in it (with a powerhead for mixing) that is good for the water or refug. i already have a calcium reactor. i think i've seen kalk stuff in one before. any suggestions or is it not a good idea at all? thanks, joel

oh, and the way it tops off is like a toilet, when the float valve drops, the water drips in a couple drops at a time.

i cant really think of anything that people would put in there besides kalkwasser. if you already have a calcium reactor then you wont benefit much from kalk unless your system is too much for the reactor or if your reactor is causing a low pH in your aquarium
