Can't believe Kevin Durant is already at #13, and ahead of Jeff Gordon! Looks like talent is worth more than results.
I think it is funny that they get paid so much and most of them have no type of championship to be able to brag about. They might have a lot of money but it is nothing without the trophy.
Is this before or after taxes? What about manager, agents, p.r people fees? Regardless, their salaries don't make me sick. They make me envious.

Personally I dont see anything wrong with how much they make. They all in their own way earned the right to make that much money. If someone is willing to pay them that and feel they are worth it, why not accept it. Not to mention that every single one of those people including many actors and actresses do their part (much more than the average person does by the way) by helping others through organizations like UNICEF or KATRINA fund and many other countless others just like it that help not only children in this country but across the world. Not to mention, people like shaq doing his part giving back to the community by finishing criminal justice degree and becoming a reserve in law enforcement. Being a celebrity or in the spotlight and endorsing a program to help others many times makes people want to help out as well. So they make more than the average person, and!?! It isnt like if you happen to be offered that much money or even just slightly more that you make now, that you would say, "no thanks, thats just not right"'. Good for them!!!

I am ambivelent about these #s. Whatever the market place pays, so be it. Tiger will be a billionaire before he is 35. But, he has brought many times that money to the PGA, nike, Tag heuer, Gillette, etc. Just the world we live in.
Now my soapbox comes out... I hate it when people think doctors make too much money. Can assure you with $225K in school loans I paid back, malpractice insurance, overhead, potential un-merited lawsuits everyday, I dont make enough. No complaints, though. I enjoy what I do and I can pay my bills. In medicine lawyers and insurance executives make all the money.
