Man, sports has gotten out of hand. Those guys don't need that much money, especially baseball players when there are millions of guys around the world who would give anything to play in the big league. What's a shame is that inorder to pay them so much money, the owners/leagues have jacked up prices of tickets/etc. and the majority of people can't afford to go and enjoy a game in person anymore. Pretty sad too that these guys go on strike every so often because they think they aren't making enough money!

Don't get me started on this subject. Its not just atheletes , but the entertainment industry as well. Its all out of hand...one day they are going to price themselves out of the market and it will all come crashing down.

Did you know that Judge Judy made 25 million last year? I can go on and on but it would make most of us sick.

It really is like modern day royalty...the separation of classes are getting further and further apart.

Don't let it get you down. If most of them stick with the statistics, they'll be broke and/or bankrupt within three years after leaving their prospective sports.

Somehow, I don't think Duncan will be part of that crowd. Anyone who is classy enough to pick building a world class team over money, probably has what it takes to keep what he makes.
