We can get Kobe after they lose to Boston and he starts whining about wanting to be traded again. Kobe for Vaughn straight up, not a bad deal. hehe

Does anyone remember the Spurs ever missing so many wide open shots? I never bought in to the "Spurs are old" mumbo jumbo but man they missed so many open shots in games 1, 4, and 5 it's not even funny. Me thinks the Spurs of old would have won this series in 5. Maybe it's time for a little fresh blood.

I think we would all agree that if the Spurs had played the way we know they can, they would be sitting right now waiting to see who they would be playing the finals. Unfortunately, they didn't seem to play as their usual selves. Now depending on who you talk to, some will say the Lakers just turned their defense up a notch and made better adjustments to keep Parker out of the lane and keep Ginobli off balance. Then others will say it's because the Spurs are older and the long season plus long series with N.O. just wore them out. Either way, it was round 3 of the playoffs and in my opinion, certain guys just didn't step up like they normally do. Hopefully the Spurs can do some house cleaning this off season and work on bringing in some new/young guys to help support Tim, Tony, and Manu. Unfortunately from the last report I saw, the Spurs big draft pick that is playing over in Europe right now has hinted at wanting to stay there for another 2 years because he is doing so well there and thanks to our US economy, he'll probably make more money getting paid in Euros than dollars.

LOL, oh heck no! Sure, we would get Kobe and then if the Spurs lost a few games he'd start crying and work to get Duncan traded like what happened with Shaq. Like Sherri talked about, I don't like his demeanor off the court or on the court for that matter. Anyone else hear him drop the f-bomb during the game last night after a foul was called against the Lakers? Any other player and the refs would have called a technical for that and the way he threw his arms around.

Anyone know of any "younger" players around the league that are free agents end of this season? Have a feeling Buford has gone "Euro" for fresh blood...

I wouldn't want Kobe here in SA...don't care how good he is. Felt the same about Malone. Didn't want him here to try & get a ring before retiring...
