Just Bought New Laptop From Best Buy. And It Doesnt Work Well It Wont Play Cd's. Trying To Load Anti Virus Spyware But Wont Load Cd's. Wont Play Regular Cd's. Can Anybody Help.

sounds like the cd rom drive is no good.what does it do when you put a cd in?

if in the device manager there is a red 'x' or yellow '!', then you will need to install drivers for the rom drive. you should be able to locate these either on the cd which came with the laptop, or you could also locate them online at the toshiba website. Alternatively, you could go back to best buy and the geek squad guys will do it for you. hope this helps and good luck.
