    Default pico sand

i was wondering where to find a 10 or 5 pound bag of white sugar sized sand for my 3 gal pico. i finally found some white sugar sized sand but they only sold in 40 pound bag!

im going to get two sexy shrimp/watchman goby/ zoos and shrooms. you think the sugar sized will be to small for my watchman?

Sugar size is perfect for a watchman.

Buy the big bag and save the rest for your next tank.

i would if it was a 20 pound. like all of the sand looks like a light brownish color. when you put it in your tank and light it up will it be white?

I use the Carib Sea Aragonite Sugar sand and I am very happy with the way it looks under lights...its not white...but its not ugly brown either...it looks like natural and changes the longer its in your tank anyway

I don't use reef grade and their live sand has larger bits in it that I don't care for..I culture my own live sand. My first tank I borrowed a cup of sand from a LFS owners tank.

The water movement will keep your sand looking nice...period.

Beach sand...the white you may be looking for...isn't good for tanks.

i think 3 gal is too small. its cuel to put any fish in a 3 gal. so im going to get this 6 gal. has good lights also. its still way to small, but its 2 times better from the 3 gal for the fish. yall think this one would be good? i know the pic didnt come out. but go to dtpetsupplies.com and you can see it there in the aquarium section. its a nice tanks from the looks.

That is a nice tank. I believe the members at DFW are having a contest with the pico tank.
