anyone heard of the street wavebox?

I wonder if its as quiet tunze wavebox. The video didn't have any back ground noise at all ..so it makes me think they turned the volume off because its loud.

The video they posted looks like it operates in the same manner, but they either had it set way to fast/high, or it doesn't work well in the tank they had it setup in. It was rocking back and forth way to fast IMO.

I want a wave box pretty bad, but I am not a guinea pig on my budget.

From reading the ad, it says the wave is adjustable. You can also adjust it within each type of mode as well. I think they just had it set too high for such a small tank so it made the wave action stand out more. I'd be nervous about being a guinea pig on this one too. The Tunze wave box is nice though. I was at Aquatek last weekend where they have one on their 150g display tank. It was fun watching the purple tang try to eat algae off of the outlet of the wave box! lol

I have seen the Aquatek one as well. I have spent a lot of time watching that tank. It would probably be easier to just hang out there than keep my own tank going.

Actually the best example I have seen of the wavebox is on the tank of the month. Andrew has his dialed in perfectly.
