    If you were commenting on my comment...yes I believe they go up to G4 or G5 naturally for the BIG tanks....I think the G2 was rated for 200 gallons, but worked perfectly on my 135 gallon display with a 45 gallon sump...

    but what i was replying to (my bad for not being more specific)

    was that I didn't know that you could over skim

    clean is good...so long as there is food and beneficial bacteria right? just like in fresh water?

    Keep it. I run my g2 on a 180. It's rated for lower but it works great with the mesh mod.

    Yeah, I'm running a g4+ on my 140 and it's overkill but I don't have to clean out the cup very often that way.
    I'd do like the others say and keep it for a rainy day.
