um my tank doesn't look nearly as nice ..still working to make it look great..We need to do some cleaning. My long tentacle plate is looking better today, not as big as usual but better.
LOL...I am one of those guys who can't let things go...LOL...soooooo here's the story

that is my old tank. But thank you very much (I think it is time for me to get rid of the picture) It was a 135 gallon, I built a stand that can hold up a Hummer, and built a wall around it...not professional, but it worked for me (not good with acrylic and other tank related equipment like some folks here...LOL...but can make things work in other ways fairly decently...enough to satisfy the inner DIY'er in me)...it was in a house I had in kansas city, mo...here it is....

Had to move back to SA for personal and family reasons so I sold the house (lucked out finding someone who wanted a fish tank in the tv room...LOL...)

I now have a 220 gallon and just so happened before I left to go watch the game (GO SPURS) this evening I tweaked the wavebox just a little more and now have a 1.25" wave going...but dont' really have anything to show the action. Yours looks cool and is doing some serious work...in time I will get some things and be able to see it.

and once again, thank you for the compliments.

TRUE THAT....I have heard less noise from my tank today tha I have since before setting up the wavebox.....I am happy with mine......and it has only be up and running for several hours.

I think my problem (with the couple of SPS corals that I have tried) was that I did not have enough flow, becuase I test for calcium, alkinity, PH, etc...etc..(basic tests) and all my parameters were good...

I don't test for magnesium....not dosing it...dont' know if I should test for it.....but everything else was in check but I couldn't keep the couple that I have....

Bill hooked me up with a green slimer that he says is tough as nails...and it looked like it was bleaching out, and it started to turn green a bit....after I moved some rocks around and repositioned the frag......now I am hoping that with the added flow, it will pull through...that will be the true test....

Then I will be ready to buy the cool SPS frags that everyone around here are keeping.
