    Exclamation mysterious patch on Blue Tang

    Sorry I know it's not a very good picture. The spot around the mouth just poped up over night. I have no idea what it is. Right now his is sperate tank being treated for an out break of Marine Velevet. There is also a patch around his tail.

    Take a bowl of freshwater, and put some dechlorinator in it. Do not add salt. Then, put the fish in there for 5 minutes. The shock of the freshwater will most likel, depending on what the fish has, will kill the bacteria infecting the fish. Try to make sure the water isn't too cold, or warm though. Give it a whirl and see what happens.
    3rd year into reefkeeping.

    Looks like HLLE. That is usually caused by poor water quality. Parameters?
    200g-No Corals Yet!
