I did my open water at Medina Lake Dam - YUK! couldn't see 2-3 ft in front of me - old tires & mucky bottom...roar of the Dam...had already snorkled a bunch in Cozumel, so if I could get thru Medina, I knew what was waiting for me! Heard that Medina is still clearer than Canyon Lake tho.

Sean - heard there was some nice diving in the springs there in San Marcos??
