today is an awesome day

so its my day off.

my wife had banged up her shin and knee 2 days ago. bus she was on was tboned, fractured her shin.

yesterday, she tripped down the stairs (shes on crutches) and banged up her knee. i was real leery of calling in to work and taking the day off since i have one unexcused absense already.

so i took the day off, took care of her n whatnot.

todays the start of my first actual days off. i get a call from work. *groan*

i thought they were calling me to yell at me or possibly can me.

NOPE!

i got a promotion!

im now the sr network admin for the telco i work at (in the call center i work at).

i just thought id like to share my bit of good news with everyone, hope maybe something similar happens to you!!!

you know, how much do those actually cost? my wife mentioned it once or twice, but those honestly arent her thing.

i wanna be prepared though, just in case she starts changing hobbies n wahtnot...
