    Default metal halide lights again

i have a giesemann setup...150 watt, with 14k phoenix de bulbs. i've heard that radium bulbs are the best, is that true or is there better? i plan on going 20k and is the megachrome 22k bulb ($110 bulb) better than the radium bulb ($85 bulb)?
    thanks for the help

I think GREENMAKO is using Radium bulbs, check his thread out on RC TOTM threads.
Reefing is just like cooking, all the ingredients have to be just right , except you don't have to bring the water to a BOIL...

thanks, one of the reefsuns you bought had a 400 watt radium also, i liked that one alot but now its time to see what they look like on a small giesemann fixture. i hope your still enjoying your metal halides, piece!

14kk Phoenix was my favorite DE lamp, still would be my favorite today. That was 250 watters though, not sure if there may be a difference in 150's. I've run a couple of Phoenix lamps and loved them.
