    Default wierd parasite things

i was looking at my tank when the lights were off with a flash light. and over the past few weeks ive noticed the long thin clear worm things. they look just like fishing string and there conected to my rock's. i pruched this one big 9ib rock and that's were they came from, theres like 8 of them on it. there from1/2 and inch to 1 in a half, and there slowly spreading to my other rocks and gravle, and theres a huge one in a hole in one of my rocks about 3 inches long. any ideas what they are?

Spaghetti worms? Bristle worms? Dunno, but they don't sound bad from the description. I don't suppose you could get a picture could ya? If not, google the two I listed and see if they look the same.

Not if they are spaghetti worms. See if you can find out what they are before taking the ax to them.

well i wish i could tell what they are, but the pics ive seen doesnt look like them... ok just imagine a 1-2 inch fishing line conected to a rock drifting in the current. thats what it looks like. and if you touch them they shoot back in the rock

I think I had a couple of those in my tank. One night I saw a white worm like thing coming from the rock and Beemer (mandarin) saw it and slurped it up like spaghetti...heehee
