    Default Hitchhiker I.D.

    I'm not sure what the white, tube, web-like thing is in the center of the pic.

    It looks like some sort of sponge or something. It doesn't move or anything....came with these zoos I got from Aquatek.

    Looks like sponge to me! Nice score on the eagle eye zoas, by the way.

    Yup, its just a sponge. Most of the BAD hitchhikers will be mobile. Zoa eating Nudibranch's, Sundial snails, Flat worms, euclid\bobit worms, mantis shrimp, ect. ect. HTH.

    Yeah sponges are great! They mean good water quality! I have a TON of sponge all over, yellow and white ones.... Its on my Marshall Island rock from the get-go, good stuff....

    cool sponge... will look wicked when it gets bigger and takes on more of a basket-woven look. I forget the genus but it is in the book "Invertebrates" by Julian Sprung.
