Darn, I missed it. It's one of the few shows on tv I actually make a point of watching. Hopefully they continue to replay it before the next episode like they used to do last season.

    LOL..very good find..
Reefing is just like cooking, all the ingredients have to be just right , except you don't have to bring the water to a BOIL...

did anyone read the recent article about deadlist catch? said something like they have been taking storm footage from different months and playing them off as one time frame and that they have been suspected of trying to make the fishing more dramatic than it actually is.

either way its still a great show. even if they are faked storms it still seems like a pretty scary job.

I have not read the article, who knows if its true or not. They said the same thing about Man VS wild and Survivor man which are great shows. The media/news is always out to make a show or someone look bad so I take it with a grain of salt. The Bering Sea is extremely dangours with or without storms, the show is very entertaining so thats all that I care about.

As far as making it more dramatic than it really is, they do that for every show on tv. If they don't show dramatic stuff, then no one would watch as it would be boring. While they can use some film clips of weather, they aren't on a movie set so they can't recreate the footage of the actual boats and crews working in the weather so I have to believe that part. There have been a couple knock-offs of Deadliest Catch and they are so over dramatic I couldn't even watch an entire episode. That Ice Road Truckers show was just plain silly at times.
