40 breeder setup for sale
I decided to finally sell my bulletproof 40 gallon breeder setup. Its been the home of my clarkii clowns and carpet anenome for the last 5 years but its time to go.
The tank is a 40 gallon breeder with corner overflow box and a psuedo-durso standpipe for quiet operation. The pump is a mag9 and its split to 2 loc line returns. Also included are 1fairly new maxijet and a totally gorgonian encrusted 802 for circulation. Lighting is a magnetic 250w bllast pushing a 2 month old 20K reeflux bulb that may be a bit blue but shows off the anenome nicely. Filtration is like all of my tanks - deep sand bed and and a 20 gallon refugium stocked with life. I'll also include a heater and whatever other tidbits I have extra if this is a starter system for someone.
The stand is a ugly 2x4 beast but its covered by a pleasant stained birch plywood stand skin that is completely removable for easy access. The canopy, which I built at the same time, of course matches.
Livestock is a few pieces of decent liverock some plain white base rock and a bunch of tonga branch and fiji rock that is 90% covered by encrusting gorgonia. The green carpet is 5+ years old and 14 - 20" wide depending on how layed out he is ( He took over seriously 1/2 the tank once). He eats silversides and will lay flatter if you feed more often. The pair of clarkii clowns are about 4 years old and are a mated pair. The female is ~ 4" long and the male 3.5". There is also a big brain coral skeleton completly covered by paly polyps and some nice size frags of colored zos I'll include as well.
The bad is the fact that there are aptasias on some of the rock but joes juice is working well against them.
Id like 375$ for the whole setup and before anyone asks - Im not looking to part it out at this time. If I decide to part it out, I'll relist it with separate prices. PMs are probably best.
