Off to a great start! How bout a skin for the stand? What kind of corals, are you wanting SPS or just softies?

Is that a lion fish in there? Maybe someone else can chime in on this but i don't think Lions are really considered reef compatible because they like low light and eat crustaceans. But I have never kept one so I don't really know, just what I have read.

Oh let me add, the tank looks great and it's a nice setup. I love your sump/fuge it is sweet!

Before you make fun of someone walk a mile in their shoes.

That way when you do make fun of them, your a mile away and you have their shoes!

Thanks guys!! I am workin on finishing the stand- putting trim and doors on it- it's a work in progress. I am wanting to do softies I don't really know much about sps.

I've had the lion for about 6 months and he hasn't bothered anyone- he is supposed to eat shrimp but with this huge aquarium and lots of hiding spaces i'm wanting to get a coral banded or two. I still have all my crabs and snails too- he's just a big baby- comes right to the top when he's hungry and basically takes the shrimp right outta your hand.

Lionfish will do great in a reef. Its basically in a way like having a moray; you may end up with missing shrimp and small fish but other than that a awesome edition.
