Yeah but if his tank was wrapped up it would look a little out of place since the canopy towers to probably 7 feet!![]()

umm...i do not believe it is true that you have the right to change the locks on a rental property. the landlord has the right to "inspect" the property at any reasonable time with, i believe, 72 hours notice. you do have the right to be there, but not to the extent of preventing their "inspection".

60G cube, now planted amazon tank
I know they have to give notice unless its an emergency but there really isn't much I could do anyways to hide a 75 gallon tank & everything in it.
Take all the contents of the tank and put them in the bath tub and close the curtain, now that would win tank of the month.
no one cares if you have a tank in your department. Fish tanks do not apply to the pet deposit rule! They don't **** on the carpet![]()

Luckily I'm cool with my apartment complex's management. They did two of those inspections (one for insurance company reasons and one for fire extinguisher reasons-yeah my stuff wasn't due for inspection for another year haha) on me and I thought I was gonna get evicted... I'm not supposed to even have fish tanks or exotics at all. I've got 12 tanks with over 20 frogs, snakes, a gecko, 2 salt tanks. hahaha. Haven't got any notices or fines ever, but I do pay my rent on time always and I guess since I don't cause any problems they extend the same courtesy. I did however let the lady know whenever I was first looking at the property that I had reptiles and she had in the past so she was down and just told me to not announce it to the world and stay lowkey. Well it came under new management and everything seems to still be relaxed, I guess I'm lucky. I think our apartment's main objective with the insurance inspections is in regardles to people renting a 1 bedroom and 20 people living there on cots in the living room and bedroom, that's one thing management told me was not acceptable whatsoever. I think they're even lenient on allowing 3 people to live in a one bedroom.

That would pwn... a 24 hour bathtub makeshift shallow water tank hahahaha... Imagine the damage to the tub finish from the salt though. I'm sure they'd wonder why a really bright MH is behind the shower curtain though. I wonder if powerhead suction cups would stick to the walls of the tub?

So far so good, I haven't got any letters/calls yet. I just got my RODI in the mail yesterday & I'm gonna hook it up this weekend. I can start filling my tank once I get some salt! Hopefully no more inspections until I move out next February/March.
