For those of you not up-to-date on the story so far, my lovely girlfriend decided that the Biocube 29 that she was running didn't quite have the oomph in the lighting department that she wanted for her SPS (even with the nanotuners 144w upgrade), so she decided to upgrade to a JBJ HQI 150w with actinics. That, of course, left her with a decision on what to do with the Biocube. That (once again, of course) led to me taking said Biocube off her hands.
Cory got her JBJ up and running and I proceeded to try to fill some of the voids in the tank left by her filling the new one. One thing I really wanted to do with the tank was get a maroon clown and anemone, since I'd love both but don't want them in my main (110g) tank for fear they'd kill/bully everything.
So, looking for an anemone and a (smallest possible I can find) GSM clown, I set off my little quest the other day. Lo and behold, I found EXACTLY what I was looking for, a TINY TINY TINY GSM and a beautiful ~6" BTA. (Once again, thanks Rufus et al)
So, tiny GSM and BTA in tow, I headed home.
Now, bear in mind, the gf's tank has had a nice matched pair of False Percs since the get go, and she's recently added a BTA in the hope of getting them to host in it (no luck getting them to host in the frogspawn, or hammer, or etc. etc.). Still, no hosting for the oscellaris.
3 days after adding Tommy (GSM) and Traveler (BTA) to the tank, I was met at the door with a very pouty gf. Yup, my little GSM is already hosting! w00t!!
