Default which fixture should i use for my 75g?

i have a 6x54w t5ho fixture that runs off 3 workhorse 7 ballasts and individual reflectors. has built in dimmable lunars

i also have 2 pfo mini pendants that have some scratches on teh reflector, mainly from where you slide the glass into place since it slides in weird-- theyll be running off two icecap 250w electronic ballasts. one is a new ballast and the other is an older model

i want it to be an SPS tank, i know the metal halide will work but im not sure about how long the reflectors will be good for because of the scratches

ive got some great growth in my 28 with the 250w i have. the 75g will have a chiller that will have no problem cooling it down, its a 1/4 hp

the t5's an actual fixture? not retroed? If it were my, I'd figure out how to use both!

yep, its a retrofit. i actually had the same idea you did. i was thinking of taking apart the fixture and lunars and mixing it with the pendants

Yeah, I've got 6 T5's and a 250w SE on my tank. It's hard to beat the color combos of T5's, but impossible to beat the shimmer of a halide!
