Default my favorite SPS piece in my take so far

so i cant post in the photo section so i thought id post here. this is my tricolor that ive had for a couple of months now. when i first got it the longest branch on this next picture was broken so i glued it and grew. but the picture is of the same three pieces:

    before:

    After:

the bottom of the base had a worm and the tricolor kept encrusting over it.

i have other pieces but this one is my favorite. i jumped the gun a couple of months ago after i bought some powerheads and skimmer and decided it was time for me to try SPS since i had felt ready.

    calcium is 420-450ppm
ALK: 9-10 but gets to 7dKH when im really busy
    magnesium: 1300ppm

not sure about phosphates since i dont have something that can measure that low

the weird thing is that the branch that broke off and i put on a frag disc looks more like the very first picture except it has neon green tips with a tint of blue in some spots

i have some that are extremely slow growers like a green digi and a blue stag. theyve been problematic. everything else has been doing well though.

i wanna try dosing vodka some time to see if ill notice a difference

this is another favorite because the guy didnt know what it was but it just keeps encrusting

    before

    after

i dont think you can tell between the two pics but this frag is encrusting over the whole rack and is a really fast grower. love the green on it and the polyps. i had an orange monti cap that fell on it and the green frag stung it really bad damaging it, but the cap recovered is doing well
