magic fish?

my dad is accusing me of trading his fish haha. i have not done this. after his 10" freshwater bala shark disappeared..with 4 big plecos in the tank..theres now a flame angel gone missing. he has a 30g hex..i know his water isnt good because i tried to tell him not to put so many fish but he did anyway...but wheres the flame angel? any ideas? i mean i understanf if he died but where the heck did he go? i looked everywhere and even under couch and table nearby. there is nothing in the tank except 40lb sand and fake corals..unless space martians came down and stole some fish??
only thing else is 3 snails, was 2 tiny cowfish now 1, was blue hippo, green mandarin, never seen neon goby, were two clownfish, and a royal gramma..that gramma did have a fat belly...*strokes chin*
