    Nice tank.

Your clam is definately gaping. Which may or may not be a sign of stress. It usually is a bad thing but with mantel expansion like that it may just be an odd clam. If it is growing and responsive then it is probably fine, if not something is up. I am no expert, clamsdirect.com has a forum just for clams though. You may be able to dig up some more info there.

Love the shape of that eel tank!

well its grown a considerable amount since i got it about four or five months ago. and ive been adding either DTs or phyto feast every other day since i got it. and as far as responsive do u mean retracting when i stick my hand in there everytime i even get close to my tank lol it retracts and opens up again

oh and theres a pencil sized snowflake eel in that other tank, i may do a niger trigger thats about 1.5 or 2 inches in size but i dunno if they will get along. also i have the exact same tank and stand as the eel tank but in a 65gallon so i should be setting it up within the next month or so. funny thing about the eel tank and the other bigger one is that they are pretty oldskool both im guessing is like 10 15 years old i had to reaseal both of them already
